Radiolab on NYTimes

April 9, 2011

I love Radiolab– a show on NPR about wonder and life and science, with fantastically talented and interesting co-hosts Robert Krulwich and Jad Abumrad. A few weeks ago I got to see a show live and it was fantastic.

The NYTimes Magazine interviews Jad and Robert and explores why they make their show the way they do. I am sometimes disappointed by the NYTimes Magazine– the articles seem way long and in need of editing, focus, direction, reality– or something like that. But this article is about a great subject and does make a good point. Radiolab is an hour long radio show, but most of its listeners, including myself, hear it through the podcast. That makes the listening experience different. Read the article here: How ‘Radiolab’ Is Transforming the Airwaves – NYTimes.com.
